Torkil Nielsen

Torkil Nielsen is a former Faroese national chess champion, winning the title on three separate occasions, in 1984, 1986 and 1988. In addition to this he has also been part of the title winning team in the national Faroese team championship on multiple occasions.
Torkil Nielsen represented Faroe Islands in three chess Olympiads in 1982, 1984 and 1988.
